0

This networking event will take place the Wednesday 19th November 2025 in Zaragoza (Spain) from 9:00h to 17:00h, and suppose an opportunity to connect, learn and co-create, building stronger partnerships for the future of Global Citizenship Education in Europe.

This event is organized by the Provincial Government of Zaragoza as an associated partner of the DEAR project Gear Up! with the collaboration of FAS Aragonese Federation of Solidarity (federation of 58 NGOs in Aragón) and the social company NeoSapiens. The event is the follow up of other similar actions carried out in Sarajevo, Barcelona, Budapest and Lille for creating opportunities for exchange, collaboration and mutual learning among DEAR-funded projects and other EU funding opportunities.

With a specific focus on Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), this event will offer a space for dialogue and networking on how Global Citizenship Education (GCE) can be promoted as part of local public policy or social actions, and how CSOs can play a vital role in shaping fairer, more sustainable communities—locally and globally.

The event will bring together organizations, local authorities and stakeholders from more than 10 European countries to reflect on practices, share lessons learned, and explore ideas for future joint activities that advance GCE in Europe while participating in interactive and non-formal activities addressed to promote synergies and further cooperation together.
